Katherine Driscoll, Waste Management Consultant

Katherine has worked for IEC since 2007 in waste management consulting. During this time Katherine has managed tender processes for waste services including developing tender documents and specifications for waste, recycling and organics collection and processing services; both in rural and regional areas, as well as metropolitan parts of Australia.

Katherine understands all aspects of the tendering process and can take responsibility for the management of probity, tender period correspondence and the evaluation of submissions. Following the tender, Katherine can draft documents for contract engagement, together with developing contract management plans. Understanding the principles that guide procurement and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders and professionals, ensures Katherine will help deliver the project sought to be achieved.

An understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework governing waste operations and services, as well as a strategic approach to determine the procurement method, allows for the best possible outcomes to be achieved.

Katherine has developed Waste Strategies across NSW. Also, Katherine has conducted numerous full cost analyses of landfills and modelled business cases for various waste services. Feasibility assessments and options reviews have also been undertaken.

Katherine can be contacted by phone on 61-2-6583 8112 or Email
